Dvortcsak's range of surfaces are testaments to a love for
paint and process. Gently brushed, creamy alabaster patinas
and iridescent glazes are merged with layers of mottled, crusty
palette knife impastos. Binding the various elements is Dvortcsak's
strong sense of mood.
Ultimately, though, it is his magical use of light that makes
this unique body of work haunting and memorable. Warm and
sustaining, its radiance glows from within and permeates through
these forms.
